We established Kabayan Remit in the UK in 2012, with a mission to offer unparalleled money remittance services to Filipinos working abroad who wished to send their hard-earned money to their loved ones in the Philippines.
Our goal was to make money transfers quick, easy, and convenient for our kababayans. To achieve this, we developed an intuitive website and mobile application that provides incredible exchange rates, low transfer fees, and quick payouts to beneficiaries. We created a platform that makes money transfers and bill payments more convenient, affordable, and faster for Filipinos.
Since our inception, we have experienced massive growth. What began as a money transfer service exclusively for Filipinos in the UK has expanded to serve Filipinos in Canada and the US as well.
Our success is due to the unwavering support of our customers and partners. Our partnership with Metrobank, RCBC, SSS, and Metrobank's payout partners enables us to provide our customers with fast and efficient service.
Kabayan Remit is rapidly becoming the go-to remittance platform for Filipinos in the UK, Canada, and the US. We process circa 1,000,000 transactions per annum with a value of over US$500,000,000.
To ensure safe and secure financial transactions, we strictly adhere to the policies set forth by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Canada's Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre (FINTRAC). In the USA, the Kabayan Remit program is sponsored by Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) and Kabayan Remit acts a service provider to CFSB.
