SHIP COOK

• Must possess NC II certificate
• Duly certificated as per STCW ‘95, as amended including SDSD (Security training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties) Certificate or higher.
• Preferably, at least one contract (6 months) onboard a overseas merchant vessel as Second Cook.
• Preferably with an experience in cooking on International cuisine, such as Japanese, Indian or European for vessels with Japanese, Indian or European officers respectively.
• Familiar with inventory works and the inventory computer system, as well as with the requisition of food provision and sound knowledge on food handling, stocking with good knowledge on environmental protection and catering health and safety;
• Familiar with hygienic and sanitation measures on food preparations and storage.
• Able to speak English proficiently
• Must be of good moral character;
• Preferably not more than 40 years old.
