NYK-Fil Ship Management, Inc. (NYK-FIL) is a joint venture company of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line), one of the world’s oldest and largest shipping companies, and the Transnational Diversified Group (TDG), one of the fastest growing business conglomerates in the Philippines.
Established in August 1989, it is engaged in the business of recruiting and deploying highly skilled and competent Filipino seafarers for the vessels of NYK Line.

Over the years, NYK FIL has consistently provided excellent and reliable manning services to its Principals as well as gainful employment to thousands of Filipino seafarers, whose dollar remittances have contributed to the development of the Philippine economy.
Its pool of merchant marine officers and ratings can be deployed to almost all kinds of ocean-going ships of NYK Line, from the traditional carriers to highly-modernized ones such as tankers, big containers, liquefied gas carriers and research vessels.
