JOB POSITION: Safety Cadet Engineer

  • Supervise the work of the assigned Safety Inspector;
  • Supervise and cooperate in firefighting and other emergency responses;
  • Conduct, attend, and participate in safety activities such as safety orientations, safety equipment inspections, and plant audits;
  • Conduct defensive driving trainings; and
  • Perform tasks delegated by the immediate supervisor and section head/manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

Must be a Registered Engineer;

Must have BOSH or COSH training;

With experience in safety works in mining or processing industry is an advantage;

Has the knowledge on the procedures and application of safety and health standards;

Having a Safety Engineer's Permit from MGB is an advantage;

Has excellent communication skills both in written and oral format;

A person of good moral character; and

Willing to be assigned in Taganito, Claver, Surigao del Norte.
