Qualifications/Requirements


  • Duly certificated as per STCW ‘95, as amended including SDSD (Security training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties) Certificate or higher.
  • Completed at least 12 months as an Oiler onboard an overseas merchant vessel
  • Must be of good moral character; and
  • Preferably not more than 40 years old
  • Able to speak English proficiently
