Qualifications/Requirements


  • Duly certificated as per STCW ‘95, as amended including SDSD (Security training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties) Certificate or higher.
  • Completed one contract (6 months) as catering crew onboard a merchant vessel.
  • Preferably have attended the course on Hygiene, Food Storage and Preparation.
  • Must be of good moral character; and
  • Preferably not more than 30 years old
  • Able to speak English proficiently
