Job Description

Medical Officer III

1. Attends to emergency calls on field.

2. Performs medical examinations and requests for diagnostic work-ups or laboratory examinationsas needed to diagnose health ailments.
3. Assists and/or performs minor surgical operations within own limitations as determined by the Chief of Hospital or Head of Department.
4. Prescribes medicine and treatment procedures and techniques within his/her field of specialization.
5. Seeks information for treating difficult and complicated medical cases through consultation with supervising officers.
6. Accomplishes relevant medical documentation such as clinical records upon admission and discharge of patients, as well as medical, legal, birth or death certificates.
7. Attends to medico legal cases and responds to court calls.
8. Conducts and participates in hospital research projects.
9. Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

f. do not forget to indicate your response to questions 34 to 40 on the right side of the sheet.
g. provide details or specifications for any “Yes” response.
h. as agreement to and for completion of the PDS, the applicant’s signature and right thumb mark should be affixed in the boxes provided.
i. picture must be taken within the last six (6) months.
