Position Title Manager (Representative Office)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) Manage the Representative Office
• Manage the Representative Office in providing relevant insights and advice in accordance with policies and procedures set by PETRONAS Chemicals International Holdings Sdn Bhd in respective country to support Company’s objectives.
2) Planning and Market Risks
• Assess market information on the country through up-to-date information on the market situation and government regulations;
• Examine country and market risks;
• Undertake competitor benchmarking;
• Established a conducive working environment and maintain relationship with external stakeholders
3) Market Intelligence and Insights
• Gather and manage reliable market intelligence and information for Company’s use.
• Report key regulatory issues to minimize any adverse impacts to the Company
• Provide insights in market dynamics to establish basis for relevant feasibility studies.
4) Business Relationships & Liaison with Relevant Stakeholders
• Networking and regular engagements with market participants, government authorities and business institutions to keep abreast with socio economic and geopolitical events within the region.
5) Operations and Administrations
• Control and manage administrative cost and expenditures for day-to-day activities against the approved budget.
• Comply and adhere to relevant local laws and regulations, internal work processes and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to the management on changes to local laws and regulations which may impact business in the country by monitoring of on-going events or news.
