1. Conducts credit investigation based on the provisions of the Credit Manual.
2. Conducts product/service market analysis.
3. Pre Assessment and follow up on the prospective clients.
4. Perform credit origination which includes credit initiation and analysis process
5. Screening of potential customer to identify highest quality prospects;
6. If acceptable, customer shall be asked to accomplish an application form and co makers form
7. Data collection using mandatory lists enumerating required documents;
8. Plausibility check and preliminary review to check for completeness and consistency in documents filed by the applicant
9. Perform credit review process and valuation of the collateral, if nay;
10. Analysis of risks association with prospects;
11. Determine the level of the bank’s control over collateral and the likely liquidation value; prepare inspection and appraisal report;
12. Financial statement analysis
13. Prepare well documented credit analysis and structure of proposed loan package, i.e. term of loan, collateral required, co-maker statement if clean, amortization table if on installment, timing of interest payment and reporting requirements, etc.
14. Submit a credit approval memorandum (CAM) to the Loans Manager for review.
15. Prepares demand letters and enforce settlement of the past due account.
16. Recommends internal credit ratings
17. Perform classification and allowance for credit losses (ACL) including changes
18. Ongoing monitoring credit exposure of borrowers on a day-to-day basis;
a.) Ensure that relevant information is communicated those personnel or unit assigned to provide ICRR;
b.) Perform post validation of the actual use of funds to determine credits were drawn for their intended purposes.
19. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
