This position will serve as a support to the effective functioning of compliance between our organization and another entity. Ensure that the activities of the business operates in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as ensuring that the business operates in line with its policies and procedures. Also, contribute towards the development and enhancement of the overall compliance function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of Compliance reports for the primary licenses
Review group policies and changes to regulation and conduct impact assessments as required
Be a point of liaison with the client compliance team in respect of any matters prevalent to the firm's regulatory license and assist with client compliance escalations where required
Serves as the middle person between our business and the other entity to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible.
Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business
Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities
Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact
Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity
Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business
Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entity
Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
Act as a positive representation of the business to the community
Performing other duties as required.
