Job Description

I. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – SELLING AREA:
Specific Job Functions -
A. Cash Handling
1. Check if change fund is complete and intact at the start of shift.

2. Recount previous sales if turned-over to his or her shift.

3. Give accurate and prompt change of payments from customers.

4. Keep the cashier’s drawer locked when taking a break or leaves the cashier’s table.

5. Counts the sales accurately on the last hour of the shift.

6. Deposit the cash sales in the vault or to personally turn-over it to the Supervisor.

7. Disburse cash, only on items listed below, otherwise consultation with the Supervisor is required: fresh ingredients, fare (should be explained), soft drinks and ice cream purchases, bakery supplies, cleaning materials, electric bill, water bill and LPG.

B. Report Preparation And Turn-over
1. Receive turn-over reports like LO/PO Report, Daily Report and Sundry Inventory.

2. Record the counted cash in the Daily Report and witnessed by a frontliner.

3. Account for all receipts of purchases made in her shift.

4. Conduct inventory of unsold baked products and non-bread products.

5. Accomplish the LO/PO Report and Daily Report. All invoices and other supporting documents should be submitted on time together with the daily report.

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – CLEANLINESS & ORGANIZATION:
Specific Job Functions -
1. Ensure cleanliness in the selling area and snack area are maintained.

2. Check if the following are in place: price tags, plastics, and straws.

5. Submit required reports to the Supervisor such as: Daily Sales Report, DTR, Payroll Timekeeping and Deductions summary, and Checker’s Report.

6. Check uniform compliance of frontliners according to standards all the time.

7. Train new frontliners in all aspects of their job.

8. Assure turn-over procedures or closing procedures are followed before log-out.

III. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – LEAD PERSONNEL FOR FRONTLINERS:
Other Job Functions -
1. Serves as lead personnel for the reliever Cashier and Frontliners on the bakeshop.

2. Supervises frontliners, including compliance on wearing proper uniform.

5. Opens bakeshop exactly on time in the morning or during first shift at company-designated time.

6. Serves as caretaker of telephone and oversees its use. No personal calls will be allowed. Unauthorized long distance call charge made on said telephone would be charged to Chief Cashier and Cashier on duty.

Qualifications/Requirements
AT LEAST HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE
18 to 40 years old
WITH OR WITHOUT EXPERIENCE AS CASHIER
WILLING TO BE TRAINED
WILLING TO WORK ON A SHIFT SCHEDULE
- to be assigned at any Julie's branch located in Bohol
