Philippines Fiber Optic Cable Network Inc. Ltd.(PFOCN) is the 3rd subsidiary of
HyalRoute, the leading provider of shared communications fiber network in South East Asia. HyalRoute Group was founded in 2006 and is based in Singapore. HyalRoute serves as the exclusive Fiber Network provider in Cambodia (CFOCN) and the number 1 NetworkProvider in Myanmar (MFOCN) providing Nationwide Backbone and Metroduct networks. HyalRoute is also a member of Submarine Cable Consortium of AAE-1 and PLCN forInternational Connectivity Platform.
In 2018, HyalRoute incorporated PFOCN as the only carrier-neutral sale/lease backbone fiber network provider in Philippines. in 2019, PFOCN signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to support its “National Broadband Plan” and its Fiber Optic Cable Investment project was awarded as Pioneer Project by Board of Investments (BOI).
PFOCN devotes on investing, implementing, operating and maintaining Fiber Optical Cable Network (“FOC Network”) and related infrastructure under the concept of infrastructure sharing. It specializes in operating integrated telecommunication network infrastructures, which comprise FOC Network (Backbone/Metro/FTTx) and other related infrastructures. PFOCN’s reliable infrastructure platform will empower the capabilities of its clients to enrich their connectivity.
PFOCN aims to build a Fiber Optic Cable Network covering Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The FOC Network will then be a shared network to Telecommunication Operators and other ISP companies. Fiber communications networks are the cornerstone of the digital age. Hyalroute’s mission is to leverage the principles of fiber network sharing to build the first and largest pan-regional, independent, customer-neutral, communications fiber network platform in Emerging Asia, to enable countries within Emerging Asia to accelerate the digitalization and development of their communications industries in a cost- and timeeffective manner, and to achieve our vision of creating ‘‘One region, one network, one provider.’’
