Job Description

WELL SERVICES SUPERVISOR

  • Well Services Supervision: Supervise and manage all well services operations, including well completions, well interventions, and production enhancement activities for offshore gas wells.
  • Operational Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement operational plans for well services activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of offshore personnel, providing clear direction, ensuring high performance, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of well services activities.
  • Well Completion & Intervention: Oversee well completion operations, including the installation and retrieval of completion equipment, and manage well intervention activities to optimize well production and efficiency.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and readiness of well services equipment, including coiled tubing units, wireline units, slickline units, and other well servicing tools.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certificate of Completion in Well Intervention or Offshore safety training (e.g., OPITO, IADC, BOSIET, HUET, First Aid, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills in English or Australian English, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of well services operations and how they integrate with other offshore operations like drilling and production.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of well services equipment, including coiled tubing units, wireline units, and other associated tools.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Strong commitment to safety and the ability to lead well services operations while adhering to all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address operational challenges swiftly and effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ability to maintain accurate records and reports of well services activities, including daily operations, equipment usage, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of well control practices and safety protocols for offshore operations.
