  • Perform welding tasks to repair, fabricate, or modify plant equipment and structures during shutdown.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
  • Operate welding equipment (e.g., SMAW, GTAW, MIG) safely and accurately.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE throughout all tasks.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • NC II in Welding or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in industrial or plant welding tasks.
  • Skilled in various welding techniques (SMAW, MIG, TIG, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
  • Willing to work flexible hours during plant shutdowns.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

• Must have ON-HAND hard hat and Safety shoes
