Inventory Control Management
- Ensure that stocks are sufficient and at an optimum level in order to meet the organization’s day-to-day requirements
- Monitor stock items that fall below the stock level point and recommend order quantities for inventory replenishment in order to ensure that stocks will arrive within the agreed lead time and minimize stock depletion
- Oversee physical inventories and count
- Reconcile physical and system inventory count; if with variance, determine the cause in order to control inventory losses and initiate corrective action for loopholes encountered in the process
Warehouse Space Utilization
- Direct and control warehouse activities in order to ensure efficient and effective use of facilities for storage and distribution of stocks
- Ensure that stocks are properly labeled and arranged according to the product line in order to speed up the process of transaction with regards to delivery and physical count
- Review supervisor report on the non-useable, slow-moving, and obsolete stocks and recommend remedial measures and disposal as the case may be in order to utilize the space consumed by these non-moving stocks
Record and Data Management
- Ensure that all warehouse personnel maintain accurate and complete inventory records supported by receiving and issuing documents duly signed by authorized personnel in order to trace back variances encountered during the physical count
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are encoded in ERP System/ IBAS System in order to maintain accurate inventory data
People Management
- Manage warehouse staff activities to ensure that the team resources are used effectively and that deliverables are met
Safety Measures
- Ensure safety measures are observed at all times in doing warehouse activities in order to minimize workplace injury
