INBOUND INSPECTOR
Job Description
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, recording of incoming and outgoing deliveries of raw material or products, unloading packages, and checking their contents to make sure they match the orders, and all items are intact and not damaged. They are also responsible for reporting a problem or discrepancy found in delivered items to shippers.
Performs inspection and keeps accurate records of finished goods and raw and packaging materials transported in/out of the plant warehouse.
Ensures all accepted finished goods and other materials from productions are in good condition / quality and are accounted for in the system inventory to avoid discrepancies and losses.
Ensure that all items loaded or transferred to other warehouses are properly recorded and inspected prior to release.
Monitors all the movements of Finished Goods, Raw and Packaging materials in his/her area of responsibility.
Inspects and observes the physical condition of the trucks and container vans prior to loading and unloading of all inventoriable materials and supplies.
Conducts accurate counting and inspection of quality and quantity of materials and finished goods.
