Job Description

Responsible for the proper loading and unloading of merchandise/items for delivery.
  • Loads and unloads items for delivery to and from the delivery truck.
  • Assembles merchandise / furniture delivered (if necessary).
  • Sees to it that all equipment used in the discharge of his responsibilities are properly maintained.
  • Maintains orderliness of the work area to ensure systematic flow of work.
  • Ensures proper storage and cleanliness as a preventive measure against fire or other accidents.
  • Sees to it that all merchandise/items and other equipment in his custody are well secured.
  • Supports Management decisions, requirements and expectations.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Atleast High School Graduate (with or without experience)
- Experience in delivery or any similar roles is a plus
- Must have good body built and can lift heavy furniture
