(VP, PROPERTY SERVICES)
The VP, Property Services develops, implements and manages operating procedures and emergency programs for the maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and landscaping in compliance with corporate/franchise standards, local and national codes and regulations to protect the property, assets, guests and employees, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction. Responsible for the short-and-long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the engineering department. Recommends the department’s budget and capital expenditure and manages within the approved budget.
• Responsible for establishing and implementing operating procedures and emergency programs of the engineering and maintenance department which include the hotel rooms & public areas, plumbing, A/C and heating, ice machines, swimming pool, electrical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, laundry, emergency generators, switch rooms, and sewage systems.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance programs, energy management programs, project management as well as training & development of the engineering staff.
• Overall in-charge of all approved expansion, renovation and remodeling projects of the property
