About the job Training Specialist
Position Summary:
The Operations Training Specialist is responsible for designing, updating, and delivering curriculum for both onboarding and continuing education programs within the Customer Support Center. Operations Training Specialists works with the Customer Support Center leadership team, including the department Director and Manager, as well as Supervisor to develop and deliver a training program that meets department needs.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
· Work with department leadership to identify training needs
· Design and revise training curriculum
· Maintain training calendar and reserve rooms for training programs
· Maintain and prepare training program materials
· Facilitate training programs for both new hires and existing employees
· Assess employee performance and provide feedback to leadership and employees
· Consult with the leadership team on performance management for employees in training, and provide updates to Human Resources as needed
· Incorporate feedback from leadership and participant surveys for continued improvement of the training curriculum
· Monitor progress of training program
· Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements

· Bachelor's degree required (Preferred: Major in Communication, Human Resources, Secondary Education, or with Secondary Teaching Certification)
· 3+ years in education or corporate training strongly preferred
· 1+ months in call center and/or customer experience environment strongly preferred
· Experience implementing industry best practices/theories of curriculum design and facilitation strategies required
· Experience implementing differentiated and multisensory learning strategies
· Experience speaking in front of and leading groups of up to 25 people simultaneously
· Solid MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook experience
· Strong data analysis skills, experience with Survey Monkey a plus
· Strong critical thinking skills: Must be able to identify and adapt to learners' needs
· Ability to collaborate with others as needed
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Receptive to feedback
· Flexibility and positive outlook required
· Ability to manage multiple priorities
· Detail-oriented and solid time management and organizational skills
