Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists the Head of Training and the Training Supervisor in all administrative functions.
2. Assists in the preparation of department reports, development plans and projects.
3. Enforces all training procedures and policies to ensure effective operations.
4. Oversees the department’s preparation in accreditation and continuously monitor the necessary requirements to comply in any body/institution.
5. Assists in preparation and continuously update of Training Manuals together with pilot instructors and Head of Training.
6. Assists in monitoring and updating of cadet and pilot instructors’ licenses, requirements and other necessary CAAP documents.
7. Coordinates with other departments regarding the status of cadet training.
8. Updates the Training Manuals.
9. Facilitates department orientation, meeting and other related company activities.
For Ground Instructors
10. Weekly monitors currencies/ monthly submission to Compliance.
11. Initially evaluates the Ground Instructors’ documents.
12. Prepares and Submits flight report to HR and Accounting for payroll.
13. Prepares necessary documents for ATOC-TS Inclusion and exclusion.
14. Monitors the Training Records like Internal Proficiency Check and Internal TKE Exam required by the HOT.
15. Creates List of Student Certification for the renewal of licenses.
16. Assists in filling out the remedial application form for the approval of the HOT and HOO.
For Cadets
17. Initially evaluates the incoming cadets’ documents.
18. Upkeeps the Training records in Talon Systems.
19. Prepares the Cadet materials.
20. Handles students’ Initial documents.
21. Prepares completion certificates for CAAP Skill Test and license acquisition.
22. Assists and handles cadets’ training concerns.
23. Answers Cadet queries like schedules, instructors contact, clearance, logbook, etc.
24. Monitors Cadet Leaves.
25. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Key Management Responsibilities
26. Maintains in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
27. Develops performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
28. Takes the lead in the development of activities and efforts to ensure the growth of AICAT enrolment as envisaged in its Corporate Mission and Vision.
29. Ensures that all lines of communication are open to direct reports giving them every opportunity to take up work and non-work-related issues that hinder productivity.
30. Takes the lead in ensuring that the AICAT Corporate Values are cascaded and deeply imbedded in the AAG culture.
