1. Receive and count stock items and record data
2. Issue and/or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies or tools coworkers.
3. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
4. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
5. Sort parts/materials and stack appropriately.
6. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and tear and report any damage to supervisors.
7. Assist in the labeling, tagging and packaging/repacking of the goods.
8. Dispose damaged or defective items or returns them to vendors.
9. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas
10. Perform related functions
