Job Description

1. Welding Operations: Perform TIG welding operations according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. Ensure that all welds meet the specified standards for quality, strength, and appearance.
2. Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, degreasing, and positioning them correctly. This includes proper fit-up and alignment of parts to be welded.
3. Equipment Setup: Set up the TIG welding equipment, including selecting the appropriate tungsten electrode, shielding gas, and other welding parameters based on the type and thickness of materials being welded.
4. Welding Techniques: Utilize proper TIG welding techniques to create precise, smooth, and uniform welds. Control heat input, arc length, and welding speed to achieve optimal results.
5. Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect finished welds visually and using non-destructive testing methods to identify defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion. Ensure that all welds adhere to industry standards and specifications.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating welding equipment, handling materials, and working in potentially hazardous environments. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Replace worn components and report any malfunctioning equipment.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, welding parameters, and inspection results. Complete work orders, reports, and other documentation as required.
9. Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to discuss project requirements, specifications, and any challenges that may arise during the welding process.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in welding techniques, equipment, and materials to improve skills and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications/Requirements

-College Level, High School Graduate or Any Vocational Course

-Female/Male

-TESDA NC I Certificate is an advantage but not required.

-Minimum of 1-2 years experience in related job.

-Knowledgeable in understanding fabrication. drawings and design

-Can start ASAP!
