1. Answers incoming calls.
2. Directs calls to guest rooms, staff or departments through the switchboard.
3. Places outgoing / long distance / overseas calls.
4. Receives telephone charges from the telephone company and encode charges in the computer and forward charge invoice to the Front Desk.
5. Takes and distributes messages for and from guests.
6. Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call service.
7. Provides information about guest’s services to guests.
8. Answer questions about the hotel events and activities.
9. Understands Switchboard operations.
10. Knows what action to take when an emergency call is requested or received.
11. Performs job of a radio operator.
12. Performs related duties as assigned by superior / Manager.
