Position Title: Datacom Technology Specialist
Job Description:
Audit network running setups, insight network, find potential risks. Understanding the existing network from High level design (HLD) and Low-level design (LLD) and providing Current & target solution. Develop software tool to do the pre vs post logs comparison to improve operation efficiency and accuracy. Solve technical and non-technical issues and ensure network safety. Support for installation, commission and integration of the Huawei datacom nodes and coordinate with customer and complete the acceptance test. Organize internal technical team training, improve engineer technical skills. Communicate with customer, make high level design based on the target network requirement. Regular meeting with customer to seek requirement from customer and have workshop with customer to clarify the solution. Remote or on-site assurance during network operation, ensure network safety. Solve technical and non-technical issues and ensure network safety Handling the emergency recovery and fault management in the Datacom network.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications engineering or related discipline and at least 5 years of Telco experience
• Expertise in routing protocols: IGP(Internal Gateway Protocol), ISIS(intermediate System to Intermediate System), OSPF(Open Shortest Path First), BGP(Border Gateway Protocol), MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching), LDP(Label Distribute Protocol), TE(Traffic Engineering), PIM(Product Information Management), SR(Segment Routing
• Ability to develop program in Python, data extraction, configuration scripts generation, MOP file generation, logs comparison
• Installation, commissioning, configuration, acceptance test and validation testing of datacom products(switch, router, firewall), incident troubleshooting, remote/on-site technical assurance for the operation.
• Highly proficient in both Chinese and English language considering the clients include both local and Chinese clients.
