The Proposal/Technical Writer I effectively executes and delivers proposals and other technical writing tasks required for Environmental Services (ES) and Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) projects, inclusive of the achievement of set KPIs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The main duties and responsibilities of the Proposal/Technical Writer I are as follows:
- Develops high-quality proposal content for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), or Request for Information (RFI), and gathers information to ensure that the client's standards and expectations are met.
- Develops other technical documents such as resumes, environmental reports, style guides, agendas, work instructions, briefings, presentations, and other deliverables, as necessary to support the needs of the local and US teams.
- Evaluates submitted proposals, processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplates to improve future proposal content.
- Conducts research on potential clients, markets, competitors, and subconsultant firms to help the US team in the decision-making process.
- Reviews incoming RFPs and RFQs and contributes to discussions to ensure the understanding of the requirements, the completeness of all necessary information, and that the technical requirements are met.
- Participates and plays an active role in kick-off meetings to share best practices, information, and problem solving with the other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
- Facilitates meetings, debriefings, feedback review, and proposal analysis effectively to ensure submitted proposals are in compliance with the requirements.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Works closely with other Proposal/Technical Writers to ensure completion of proposals and other deliverables that comply with the client's requirements.
- Prioritizes responsibilities to meet deadlines.
