Job Description

    • Communicates performance objectives to farm personnel.
  • Oversees day to day farm activities and ensures that standard operating practices (SOP) are adhered:
  • Feeding Management including recommendation on adjustment
  • Housing Temperature and Humidity Management
  • Lighting program implementation
  • Inventory and record keeping
  • Biosecurity compliance
  • Submits Actual and Forecast for the TEP (Total Egg Production) and Hatching Egg
  • Coordinates with the Breeder Veterinarian the health status of the flock
  • Coordinates the following activities and ensures the standard operation is followed:
  • Pre-loading and placement of day-old pullets
  • Debeaking and brooding activities
  • Vaccinations and medications based on Veterinarian’s recommendation
  • Sample weighing and uniformity of flock
  • Regularly meets the farm supervisors/ managers to ensure seamless integration of rearing and laying processes for the entire layer production flow.
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Regular submission of reports on progress and performance in every assigned farm.
  • Assigned to any relevant task as maybe needed by immediate superior from time to time.
  • Follow compliance to company rules and regulations, actively participate in company sponsored programs, and comply to quality, environmental, health and safety rules and regulations of the company.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, preferably major in Animal Science or Animal Husbandry.
    • With minimum 2-year of work related experience.
    • Must be computer literate and familiar with different Microsoft Office applications.
    • Willing to travel upon request.
    • Capable of communicating to all levels of the organization to express ideas clearly
    • Customer Service oriented for both Internal & external clients
    • Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
    • Understands and aware of Environment, Health and Safety rules and regulations of each organization.
