Job Description

  • Responsible for administration, configuration and monitoring of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), servers and security devices/applications
    • Responsible for setup, technical support and troubleshooting on PCs, printers, e-mails and other IT-related services
    • Responsible for recommending and setting up of IT security, taking into consideration the confidentiality, integrity and availability
    • Responsible for evaluating, recommending and setting up of IT infrastructure
    • In-charge of creating system/training manuals and documentation
    • Responsible for logical and physical security implementation of IT infrastructure
    • Performs regular backups and restoration testing, and do restoration, whenever necessary
    • Monitors server and network health, and updates security patches
    • Regularly checks server and network logs, including anti-malware and intruder detection
    • Provides tier one (level 1) user support and troubleshooting
    • In case of security incident/information breach, the administrator reports to the IT manager immediately
    • Conducts inventory of items under IT custody
    • Maintains records of monitoring, requests and tickets
    • Conducts in-house training and creates manuals, as needed
    • Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate of Bachelor Degree and Vocational Course/ Information Technology, or other related course
    • With at least two (2) years of experience in Systems Administration
    • Expertise in Server (On-premise and Cloud)/Client in Windows environment, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), Telephony (PABX - Private Automatic Branch Exchange) and IT Security, including Firewall and endpoint security
    • Skills in technical support for client PC, printer and other IT devices
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and handling of trouble tickets
    • Skills in documentation, business writing, reporting and presentation skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Team player and be able to perform in high pressure work environment.
