Job Description

Priority Tasks:
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Oversee and coordinate with Netwiz, the outsourced IT services provider, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage and maintain network firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient network traffic management.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and updates.
Minor Tasks:
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure hardware and software inventory is updated and accurate.
  • Provide end-user support and training as necessary.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize IT systems. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer systems is required
  • At least 2 years experience in the same/equivalent position.
