Job Description

1. 15% Initiates and/ or participates in the conceptualization and development of research protocol and development of research tools.
2. 20% Provides guidance and technical support in the planning, organization, management, training, supervision and monitoring of specific components of researches or projects.
3. 15% Provide technical consultancy services based on the areas of expertise, in assistance of protocol development.
4. 10% Contributes in the development of research protocols, data collection tools, training manuals and the like.
5. 10% Writes technical reports and manuscripts for publication.
6. 5% Serve as lecturer and/or mentor in the department’s training program.
7. 5% Provides guidance in the development and implementation of the department’s training program.
8. 15% Perform all other technical and training services as may be requested or assigned by the department head.
9. 5% Performs all other task as assigned by the Department Head, CRD Chief or RITM Director.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Qualification Standards (per Civil Service Commission Quality Standards Manual);
     Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
     Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience.
     Training: Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training.
     Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility.
Relevant Qualifications to the Position;
     Education: Master’s degree in the field of epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, and statistics is an advantage.
     Experience: Relevant experience in health-related researches.
     Training: Relevant trainings on Research Ethics, Data Management, Epidemiology, Research Methods, Technical Writing, Data analytics.
