The Store Supervisor/OIC will ensure that all directives are cascaded to the team and are observed consistently. S/He should motivate and drive them to persistently hit the monthly sales target. And s/he should be able to keep his or her team members in line with the company’s mission and vision.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. STORE SALES
- Analyzes sales and conversions as a tool to improve teams performance and achieve monthly targets
- Closely monitors stock movement to be able to logically recommend items to request that the store can sell and to pull out items that are not moving or for promotion
- Pro-actively performs tasks that lead to efficiencies
- Takes the initiative to study the market and the competitors
II. STORE OPERATIONS
- Implements and monitors consistency of application of the operational standards required
- Coordinates with the different departments on matters pertinent to the store’s operations and vital in the achievement of targets
- Recommends measures to avoid pilferage
- Executes an organized rostering to make certain that operations is well and strategically covered daily
- Ensures that all company properties are handled well and are maintained in its best condition
- Takes full responsibility in everything that happens in the store
III. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
- Drives the team towards the achievement of goals set
- Provides excellent customer experience through well-informed and well-trained athletes
- Practices fair and just people management
- Leads the team by example – acts, speaks and thinks like a supervisor should, and inspires them to be at their best all the time
- Assists and guides key people in the store in the performance of their duties – cashiers, inventory specialists, visual leads, category leads, as well as the athletes and trainees

- Monthly Sales Meeting Reports
- KPI report of his store
- Visual Merchandising report
- Promo Analysis Report
- Monthly Roster of his team
- Reports accomplished by cashiers
- Reports accomplished by inventory specialists
- Documents accomplished pertinent to merchandise movement and operational activities
- Assists in the product knowledge training by constantly discussing merchandise in the store and including it in the daily huddle, as well as in regular check ins with each team member
- Keeps track of the performance of each team member by accomplishing game plans and evaluations that would be a two-way feedback geared towards the development and improvement of the member
- Celebrates and magnifies team members’ accomplishments during the huddles and check-ins
- Aligns objectives, updates status of sales, and motivates and energizes the team thru daily team huddle
IV. GENERAL
- Considers the best interest of the company when making decisions
- Adheres to the standards set by the company on work attitude and ethics, proper uniform, performance, including the TOP Vision, Mission and Values
- Maintains the confidentiality of all matters pertinent to TOP
- Performs other tasks that may be deemed necessary
