• Cascades to the selling team about individual sales targets, new offers & alert Category Merchandising Manager of product/promo problems (if any).
• Monitors current stock levels plus pending deliveries vs. sales trend to alert Category Merchandising Managers of possible stock-outs and slow-moving items.
• Inspects items for transfer or Return to Vendor (RTV) to ensure correctness of product type and quantity, processes in Merchandise Management System (MMS) and signs the required documents.
• Manages the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use and safekeeping extra items.
• Monitors attendance of Sales Clerks and Stock Clerks and manages absences by re-assigning tasks to remaining staff (manage plantilla, leaves, issue violation reports).
