Job Description

1.0 Job Summary
Primarily responsible for providing support in the store in the areas of cleanliness, maintenance, security, safety, and inventory management to ensure an exceptionally positive experience for customers.
2.0 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 In charge of store appearance, cleanliness, maintenance, security and store supplies.
2.2 Responsible for ensuring that delivered stocks are promptly checked and displayed, and that the store shelves always appear full and neat.
2.3 Assists in customer service by directing customers to appropriate product location and/or customer advisors. Also assists in bagging and in helping customers carry their shopping bags to their vehicles.
2.4 Acts as in-store security officer, asks customers for their backpacks and other shopping bags to be put away in the package counter.
2.5 Participates in inventory counts, helps ensure accuracy of inventory reports and keeps shrinkage (expired and damaged) to a minimum through constant monitoring.
2.6 Regularly communicates with peers and immediate superior regarding product levels, customer queries and other store operational requirements.
2.7 Ensures that sensitive tasks that may be assigned, such as depositing cash or closing the store, are done strictly following the Company’s SOPs.
2.8 Strictly follows company policies, standards and store operating procedures at all times.
2.9 Takes every opportunity to promote and add value to the Healthy Options brand.
2.10 Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements

3.0 Qualifications
3.1 High School graduate or college level
4.0 Work Experience
4.1 Preferably with relevant work experience in a warehouse or retail store setting.
5.0 Minimum Required Skills and Personal Attributes
5.1 Demonstrates basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
5.2 Good organization and record-keeping skills with an eye for detail.
5.3 Able to communicate in English and Tagalog (written and verbal).
5.4 Able to accomplish multiple tasks and work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment while providing good customer service.
5.5 Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
6.0 Preferred Skills
6.1 Warehousing, stock or inventory control, and basic maintenance skills (for fix-up jobs, or for minor or emergency repairs that include electrical and plumbing repairs).
7.0 Physical Requirement
7.1 Physically and psychologically fit to assume the position and perform the tasks assigned.
7.2 Must possess manual dexterity or flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, reach or climb a ladder; and should be able to carry and lift heavy objects, and stand for long hours.
7.3 Must be a non-smoker
