1.To provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to customers.
2.To maintain fullness and completeness of stocks/items display inside the selling area.
3.To check that all items on display have a correct price.
4. To classify items into smallest detail.
5.To handle / transfer goods with proper care.
6.To maintain good condition of all equipment's used.
7. To control overstocks inside the selling area as well as Holding area thorough proper stock withdrawal.
8.To participate in all activities required / created by management.
9. To maintain cleanliness on areas of assignment.
10.To maintain alertness to:
Suspicious person around the selling area
shoplifting
pilferage
pricing errors / mispricing (under price or over price)
damaged and defective items
proper handling or perishable and delicate items
11. To follow selling and warehouse guidelines
12. Uses standard monitoring sheet for perishable area.
13. Is guided by the standard daily monitoring sheet for perishable area.
14. Is guided by the standard daily routines for the perishable area.
15. Is guided by the selling compliance monitoring sheet.
16. Coordinates all near expiry items with the Selling Supervisor and/or Marketing Department 2 months before expiry date.
