STOCK CLERK

Job Purpose

• Under the direct supervision of Warehouse Supervisor; Responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching of merchandise; checks and records the movements of stocks in the warehouse.

• Checks and records arrivals, stock transfers, pending orders and returns to suppliers.

• • Maintains proper storage, cleanliness and orderliness of work area to ensure systematic flow of work.
• • Sees to it that all merchandise / items and other equipment are kept and secured in the designated area.
• • Sees to it that merchandise is properly tagged before it is transferred to the selling area.
• • Prepares stock requisitions for immediate replenishment to guarantee completeness of merchandise at the selling area.
• • Re-checks stocks to be brought to the different branches.
• • Informs the Warehouse Supervisor on returns and damages.
• • Conducts periodic stock count in the warehouse according to set schedule.
