1. Upon arrival of the stocks, open and check them. Verify if there’s a PO and receipt from the company.
2. Compare the actual quantity with the receipt. Check for any damages.
3. If an item lacks a receipt, immediately inform Purchasing Department.
4. When checking, do it slowly to avoid damages; if you cause any, you will be charged.
5. After checking, confirm with the in-charge if the prices are still the same. If they are, encode it into the computer and tag the prices (approved by Purchasing/Sales Manager). If not, ask if there’s stock from before with a different price to average before making a price tag. This helps prevent customer complaints about price discrepancies.
6. Once all pricing is confirmed, create the price tags.
7. Before applying price tags, ensure the correct items are being tagged to avoid mistakes.
8. Before lowering items, a requisition slip must be prepared for the stocks.
9. The in-charge must inform the elevator operator whether to lower the stocks or not, to avoid lowering items before the requisition is ready.
10. If stocks arrive with prior damages (like cosmetics), create a B.O. slip and deduct it from the company, to be retrieved by the agent.
11. For houseware items, create a dropping slip, but show it to the Supervisor first for checking. List where it came from in the notebook.
12. For defective houseware items that cannot be returned, consult the Sales Manager to see if they can still be sold.
13. The in-charge must know where to encode houseware stocks to avoid display issues. Some items may be displayed on the 2nd floor but need to be encoded for the ground floor. This can cause delays and customer frustration if items can’t be scanned in the selling area (Item not found). Focus on your work to minimize mistakes.
14. B.O. items cannot be accumulated until RTS is lightened, as some companies won’t accept B.O. stocks if they exceed 15-30 days.
15. Once all tasks are completed, clean the warehouse and remove any debris to keep it tidy and ready for the next day.
16. Pass through Basement 1 upon leaving for frisking and logging out on the computer.
