I. Delivery of design and technical services of project assigned based on IRONCON’s Construction Methodology;
- Preparation of plans for bid out to SUBCON
- Coordination with SUBCON for bid outs
- Checking of actual layout before starting construction
- Deploy and implement construction works i.e. staff mobilization, take-off on materials, equipment and tools needed at jobsite.
- Preparation of Bar Chart and S-Curve
- Coordination with concrete supplier and supervision during concreting;
- Supervision in testing of materials (concrete & steel)
- Coordinates to owners and architects with regards to design and other items
- Prepares shop drawings for approval
- Maintains workmanship and craftsmanship of work including those of SUBCON
- Monitoring of work progress
- Evaluates SUBCON billings and change orders
- Estimates of additional and deductive works
II. Compliance to regulatory permits and licenses;
- Assist in coordination with paper works required for permits
- Assist various government agencies conducting building inspections
III. Submission of required reports. Updating the President, EVP and PM’s on the following:
- Material Costing Report
- Weekly Progress Report
- Labor Cost Report
- Projected Weekly Payroll
- Progress billings
IV. Facilitates and attendance to jobsite meetings
- Management meetings
- Technical & coordination meetings
- Office PE meetings
V. Resolve issues of staff and workers. Provides counseling to staff and workers
VI. Provides technical support and assistance to jobsite staff;
- Provides target accomplishment of work to foreman
- Site instructions to staff
VII. Implement SAFETY PROCEDURE at site
- Injuries and illnesses of staff, workers and trade;
- Damage to properties, incidents and complaints
- Cleanliness of jobsite
VII. Implement necessary steps to achieve quality, economy and early completion of project
- Meet project timetable
- Control LABOR COST
- Minimize waste
IX. Directs, train, mentor and promote harmonious working relationship among jobsites staff, workers, SUBCON and others trades;
- Train APE’s, new engineers & OJT’s
