Job Description

The Sponsorship Management Unit is part of Global Sponsorship Program Development Team within GPC, which supports the overall operation of the sponsorship program based on data related to sponsored children and sponsors. This position serves as a communication bridge between the Global Partnership Center (GPC) and the Partnership Countries—Core Alliance and Partnership Country—handling responsibilities such as data verification, communication coordination, and monitoring sponsorship management progress. The GPC Sponsorship Assistants will help ensure the stability and accuracy of sponsorship operations by identifying data discrepancies, guiding countries on required corrections, and conducting follow-ups. They are also expected to analyze sponsorship data to assess progress, prepare related reports, and effectively respond to inquiries from Partnership Countries.

Communication and Coordination with Partnership Countries and GPC

  • Communicate with Partnership Countries and GPC through email and MS Teams, providing timely responses and feedback related to child sponsorship operations.
  • Key areas of communication include:
    • Inquiries regarding system use (e.g. data upload issues, system errors, etc.)
    • Questions from the field on service implementation (e.g. child registration, dropout processing, etc.)
  • The staff will directly address issues that can be resolved independently and will escalate GPC-level matters to the appropriate focal point. After the discussion, they will communicate the resolution back to the Partnership Country.
  • This role supports and facilitates the consistent implementation of the sponsorship program across countries by delivering accurate information and policy direction.

Monitoring and Reporting on Sponsorship Operations

  • Monitoring sponsorship services to ensure timely and proper implementation based on sponsorship data.
  • On a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, the staff will compile and analyze key indicators, including:
    • Submission rate within the due date and error rate per service category
    • Drop-out rate and related trend analysis
    • Sponsored Children Status List’ updates to be shared with partnership countries.
  • Collected statistics are shared with both GPC and Partnership Countries, supporting each country in improving sponsorship performance based on data.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (social sciences, public administration, international development)
• Experience related to Child Development, Sponsorship Systems, or Case Management in NGOs
• Preferably with experience in data review, documentation, and communication with international partners or external agencies.
• With basic understanding of sponsorship and supporter service programs
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and web/app-based work systems (especially Excel with functions)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data according to internal guidelines
• Clear communication and coordination skills
• Ability to organize workflows and document processes
• Capacity to liaise with IT Team regarding system issues or service request
• Fluency in English for both written and verbal communication, including professional email correspondence
