Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with selecting baked goods and beverages.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Customize beverages based on customer preferences, such as adjusting sweetness or adding flavors.
Food Handling and Service:
• Present and serve baked goods such as bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies.
• Heat and assemble food items as needed, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper food storage and hygiene practices to meet health and safety standards.
Cashiering and Sales:
• Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Upsell products and inform customers about promotions or new items.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments, ensuring accurate accounting at the end of shifts.
Shop Maintenance:
• Keep the bakeshop clean, including counters, tables, equipment, and restrooms.
• Restock shelves, displays, and inventory as needed.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and securing the shop.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of ingredients and supplies.
