Job Description

  • Process customer transactions for bakery products accurately and efficiently.
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Handle cash and other payment methods specific to bakery sales
  • Provide product information and assist customers in making selections
  • Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout and display area
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to bakery purchases
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
  • Upsell additional bakery items and promotions when appropriate.
  • Keep track of daily transactions, reconcile cash drawer, and generate reports as needed


Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least high school graduate.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
