A senior cashier/barista, also known as a head cashier/barista, manages the cashier/barista, service crew, and overall operations of cafe. Their responsibilities include:
Customer service - providing a positive customer experience, addressing customer complaints, and resolving price checks;
Cash register operations - ensuring register has the correct amount of cash, resolving cash tills at the end of each shift, and generating accurate till reports;
Staff management - supervising and training cashier/barista, ensuring they follow store policy and procedures, and creating a positive work environment
Sales floor functions- monitoring the checkout area, ensuring each station is clean and running efficiently, and drawing up work schedules for staff
Others - Auditing cash registers at the end of each shift, handling difficult customer situations
Reports to the Cafe Manager
Work schedule is fixed part-time: Tues-Sat 12:30-7:30pm
