Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Supervisor - Security and Safety Training

I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assists in the preparation and delivery of the induction and ongoing training and assessing programs.
  • Trains external security contractors ensuring the provision of service meets the company standards and departmental objectives.
  • Assists the Training Manager to maintain and manage training records, ensuring reports, records, etc. are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the development and maintaining of training material, plans, and manuals.
  • Assists the Training Manager providing individualized training plans to strengthen an employee’s existing skills or teach new ones.
  • Ensures that all training is carried out to comply with statutory guidelines and company policy and procedures.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining an annual training and drills matrix, illustrating scheduled training and assessing including scenario drills aimed at all levels of the Department.
  • Assists the Training Manager with career succession planning that focuses on development and succession of local employees.
  • Continually monitors training programs and the Security operations to identify any training gaps and make recommendations as required.
  • As required, assists in implementing strategies to ensure customer service targets are met.
  • Acts in the role of Trainer as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Educational Requirement:
  • Tertiary level education in a training related field preferred.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years Security Supervisor experience in Casino Security Environment or other demonstrated high level Management experience.
  • Experience with training and assessing will be advantageous.
Skills and Attributes
Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of laws as they relate to the organization, in particular the requirements as outlined by the PAGCOR Gaming Authority, Philippine Law and Philippine Labor Law.
  • High level of proficiency in both spoken and written Tagalog and English is essential. Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese, speaking is also an advantage.
Leadership Skills:
  • Highly competent in people management and organizational skills.
  • Strong in relationship building and communications.
  • Encourages people to work as a team.
