As Second Officer- Navigation Officer, coordinates with CE in maintaining the log abstract, and ensures that all facts are entered in the Deck log book on a daily basis
Ensures all charts and publications are up to date by obtaining current applicable charts and notice to mariners
Medical officer, handle all medical issues on board, see to it as medical locker is well equipped and maintained in compliance with Philippine Coast Guard
Keeps track the health and medical records of all crew for further reference
As third Officer- assist Chief officer and Second Officer as required
Safety equipment officer, responsible for the preparation of the master list for fire and boat drill stations which are to be displayed in the bridge, engine control room, bulletin board aisles
Keep record book complete with dates when lifesaving and firefighting equipment were checked and date of boat drills, fire drills, test running of the life boat motor, testing of the emergency fire pump and black-out the emergency generator
Other duties, perform other duties as may assigned by the senior officers
