Job Description

A salesman, also known as a sales representative or sales associate, is responsible for promoting and selling products or services to customers. They play a crucial role in generating revenue for the company by identifying customer needs, demonstrating product features, and closing sales.

1. Identifying and prospecting potential customers through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
2. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations.
3. Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
4. Negotiating and closing sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
5. Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
6. Collaborating with marketing and other departments to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
7. Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
8. Providing after-sales support, including addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer retention.
9. Participating in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance selling skills and knowledge.
10. Representing the company professionally and ethically in all business interactions.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Preferably candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
2. Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
3. Knowledge and Skills:
   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   - Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
   - Customer-oriented mindset and ability to understand customer needs.
   - Good product knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
   - Results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
   - Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
   - Effective time management and organization skills.
   - Familiarity with sales techniques and processes.
   - Proficiency in using sales software or customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
   - Adaptability and resilience in a competitive sales environment.
