Sales and Marketing Assistant duties and responsibilities include:
1. Coordinates with Sales and Marketing Manager for the finalization of room rates,
discounts and room amenities as well as banquet packages and rates
2. Assist Sales and Marketing Manager in planning, organizing and implementing
marketing strategies and promotional programs to meet performance targets – sales,
occupancy, etc.
3. Identifies business opportunities daily by identifying prospect clients and guests and
evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales option. Sends
proposals to prospect clients, do follow up on clients through sales call, sales blitz, e-
mail, fax and text. (Minimum of 10-15 prospected clients per day but would be best if
more than what is expected.)
4. Does daily follow-up of accounts of clients (new, old and existing clients & prospect
clients)
5. Sells the hotel rooms, function room facilities and services by establishing contacts and
developing relationships with prospect clients and guests, makes appropriate
recommendations to clients.
6. Maintains good business relationships with corporate clients, travel agents and other
client and guests by providing support, information, guidance and recommending new
opportunities and services improvements.
7. Attends to room and banquet reservations and makes sure that reservation system and
other required documents are updated.
8. Answers room inquiries and reservation through phone, e-mail, fax, text, Viber,
WhatsApp and social media pages of hotel especially corporate, travel agencies,
associations, government agencies, organizations, embassies, etc.
9. Coordinates with Front Office and Housekeeping Department regarding room
assignments, VIP arrivals, rush rooms and other related matters.
10. Coordinates with Accounting Department regarding send bill accounts of clients and is
also responsible in updating the Accounting Department of client arrangements,
documents, client’s contact information and other details regarding the client’s send bill
accounts.
