Orient, train and coach newly hired staff and subordinates.
Make recommendations on hiring new area managers and firing non performing Area managers within the area of responsibility.
Manage and motivate area managers within his/ her area of responsibility and ensure area managers generate sales and achieve quota consistently.
Ensure all area managers within his/ her area of responsibility are familiar with company products, its features, application and benefits to the clients, as well as, any and all concepts, ideas and solutions relating to the product.
Make recommendations on how to motivate people, while keeping in mind the need for such action to be commercially sensible for the company.
Reports to direct supervisor and other members of the management vital sales and collection information
Conduct disciplinary actions if necessary
Uphold company culture and values
Account Management
Ensure a healthy pipeline of clients are conducting trials
Financial Management
Ensures that sales targets are met and provides a recovery plan when needed.
Monitors and updates sales forecast for the region.
Reviews and approves quotations prepared by the area sales manager.
Suggests new and effective commission scheme for ASMs
Ensures effective use of company resources
Marketing Function
Ensure familiarity with products, its features, application and benefits to the clients, as well as, any and all concepts, ideas and solutions relating to the product/s within his/ her area of responsibility
Gather data on competition in relation to their product and its features, as well as their marketing strategy, strengths and weaknesses, in relation to his/ her area.
Provide mid-level marketing support to the area managers.
Leads programs to improve customer satisfaction.
Works with technical department on strategies that will help increase sales
AR Management
Ensure all collections are made on time and ensure a 100% collection rate on all accounts handled by Area Managers under his/ her area of responsibility
Information Management
Guards company information with utmost confidentiality.
Maintain a good system of record-keeping
Other Duties
Utilize company resources effectively.
Perform in a manner consistent with company Vision, Mission, Core Values, Rules and Regulations and Operating Principles/Procedures.
Provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
