SALES MANAGER
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.
2. Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities.
3. Market research and analysis: Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, target new customer segments, and stay updated on industry developments. Analyzing sales data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales campaigns and make data-driven decisions. Submit these compiled reports and comparisons to the EVP or Director for evaluation and discussion.
4. Budget management: Assisting in the development and management of the sales dep budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. A yearly spread is prepared to know the budgetary expenses and plans for review.
5. Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other sections within the Marketing Department, such as the campaigns on online presence, including the website, social media platforms revenue management, and other departments such as operations, to align sales strategy with the overall objectives of Cebu Safari & Adventure Park & El Mar Resort and support their initiatives.
6. Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and catering clients
7. Seek out and select other hotel or resorts partners to attain the best possible and competitive rates
8. To be responsible for ensuring the sales team achieve targeted sales on a monthly basis.
9. To prepare weekly membership figures for analysis and a monthly report on all accounts of membership status, renewals, attrition, new and potential signings
10. Track and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement
11. Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct at all times when dealing with clients, guests etc.
12. Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.
