A Sales Engineer is expected to:
Find prospective clients and determine requirements
- Analyze a company's IT system and infrastructure
- Diagnose IT system problems, inefficiencies, and weaknesses
- Recommend products and services that will meet clients’ needs
- Implement a technological solution to meet business needs
- Manage client accounts and be an ongoing resource for clients
- Provide advice on technology best practices
- Collaborate with a technical in-house team to ensure smooth implementations
- Monitor the success of IT solutions
- Do quarterly business reviews with clients
