A. Primary Task
1. Sell and assists customer needs:
a. Have sufficient product knowledge to suggest alternative products
b. Know availability of products and relevant in-stock information
c. Maintains cleanliness of assigned area/gondola(s).
2. Monitors stock availability through the accurate and updated daily maintenance of
the Stock Monitoring Sheet (SMS) of items in the assigned gondola.
a. Complete list and stock availability status
b. Non-stock and critical stock level
3. Coordinates with Superior on orders to be made based on the SMS.
a. Monitors on-time delivery of items ordered.
4. Coordinates with the Superior on all activities in the assigned area
a. Monitors the assignment of other SAs or dizers that may be assigned in the same
gondola to ensure efficiency in the maintenance of the planogram, in-stock level and
customer service
5. Handles merchandise properly from receiving to storage and display.
6. Ensures that items are displayed in the shelves according to planogram (based on
facing, adjacencies, etc.) and display standards.
a. Product display starts from shelf talker to the demarcation line where product display
ends.
7. Ensures that items do not go beyond the start & end markers without prior approval of
store management
8. Sees to it that stocks in assigned gondolas are accounted for both in the selling area
and backroom.
9. Places accurate/updated shelf talkers in designated areas of the rail strip.
10. Maintains the backroom with required buffer stock in a clean and organized manner
to eliminate damage and ensure easy retrieval.
11. Conducts periodic cyclic as directed by his superior in a timely and efficient manner.
B. Secondary Task
1. Prepares reports as may be necessary in the performance of the job.
2. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
C. Others
1. Operates selected equipment used by the department such as computer, tag
machine, etc. in an efficient and safe manner.
2. Participates in inventory take of the department to achieve accurate inventory data.
3. Assists in price canvass activity to ensure competitive pricing of deli & dairy items.
4. Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of divisional goal
attainment or for own personal or professional training, education and development as
planned by the superior.

V. CRITICAL CHALLENGES
1. Product knowledge of all products being sold so that customers can be apprised
accordingly when they ask about any product, what it is, it’s use or substitute.
2. Handling direct customer complaints / concerns in the selling area. Immediately refers
the customer to person who can address the problem.
