• Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
o Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
o Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to understand their evolving needs, project pipelines, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
o Serve as a client advocate within the company, ensuring internal teams are aligned with client expectations.
• Business Development & Sales:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the general contracting space, including prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
o Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand business with existing clients through upselling and cross-selling construction services.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of our services.
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
o Collaborate with the estimating and project management teams to develop comprehensive bid packages, including manpower, materials, equipment, and insurance.
• Market Analysis & Strategy:
o Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive activities.
o Provide feedback on market demands, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies and service development.
o Contribute to the development of overall sales strategies and targets for the general contracting business.
• Sales Performance & Reporting:
o Manage a sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales results and annual revenue.
o Track and report on sales metrics, client interactions, and account performance using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
o Analyze account data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
o Prepare regular reports for management on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
o Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including project managers, estimators, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
o Coordinate logistical needs with subcontractors, architects, and engineers as required for proposal development.
