SAFETY OFFICER

MEDICAL

• Administer emergency care & treatment to all employees (e.g., check vital signs, apply first aid treatment, take blood pressure, dispensing of medicines)
• Assist seriously ill or injured employee to the nearest retainer clinic or hospital
• Conducts home visits for sick or injured employee
• Assists in Annual Physical Examination (APE) of all employees

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Conduct health and wellness programs
• Provide further assistance with APE Medical results with findings
• Coordinates with HMO accredited hospitals or clinics for medical consultations or APE
• Maintains confidential documents of employees' medical records, APE results
• Conduct monthly inventory of medicine supplies and replenishment
• Monitors medical reimbursement for insurance claims
• Ensures compliance and submission of related documentation to DOLE such as accident/ illness report, work related accidents, COVID-19 monitoring

SAFETY

• Coordinates with DENR/DOLE/BFP for certification and compliance
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards
• Prepare educational seminars/webinars in related to safety
• Report and monitor health hazards in work place in relation to Safety, Sanitation & GMP Practice
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employee's safety
• Complies with the Food Safety Management Systems of the plant that includes Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time
